Our Philosophy

Knowledge, education and training make Burgess Loh Interiors highly qualified to successfully handle any design need. The State of Texas requires that all Interior Designers must be licensed in order to practice interior design. Jennifer Burgess Loh, ASID, holds this license and has a professional accreditation required by passing rigorous industry standards including a combination of accredited design education and full time work experience and examination.

While an interior decorator may possess a talent for combining fabrics and furnishings and selecting colors, that is a very small portion of the entire interior design process and work.

When hiring a professional interior designer, a client should use the same criteria as when hiring any other professional: credentials, ethics, professionalism, reputation and, as it pertains to your project, your health, safety, and welfare in your surroundings.

This premise is the foundation of our licensing by the State of Texas. The following organizations are also a good resource for learning more about working with licensed designers.
